Just to Clarify:

If you don’t like what I’m saying, then kindly unfollow me.  I honestly don’t care if I lose a follow or a hundred.  It doesn’t hurt my feelings at all and it will spare you a lot of bitching.

And second of all, I have seen Boys like Girls play four times now and this was the only show I have ever seen Martin Johnson acting like a total douchebag onstage.  He is usually very held together and usually puts on a great show.

Honestly, last night I was embarrassed to watch him act like a fool and disappointed that I wasted my money to watch him be a drunken mess onstage.

Since none of you believe me that he was a hot mess, please let me know what caused him to do all this in one show and I will gladly take back my comments on him (which were meant as more of a joke anyway) and eat my words.

  • During a break he decides he doesn’t want to play Five Minutes to Minute.  When the bassist protests and asks the audience if they want to hear it, Martin throws his water bottle on him and protests that he doesn’t want to play it and that he only wants to sing it.  Eventually he gives up and plays the song, but forgets some of the words.
  • He comes out on-stage with his acoustic guitar and begins to play Thunder completely off-pitch.  He stops after the second verse and then re-tunes his guitar before continuing the song.  Stops playing thunder and moves into Two become One without finishing Thunder.
  • When they are about to play The Great Escape (which is always their last song) he says “Alright, I’m tired of this song, let’s play Great Escape and get this over with”.
  • Once they begin to play it he falls on the ground as an inside joke and stops singing.  Stands up and comes over to the audience and requests his band stop playing and start the song over.  So they do and he continues to forget the words.   Needless to say there was no encore and All Time Low should have played last.

Now please, I would love some explainations.  And usually I don’t give a shit, but I don’t like it when people call me a liar when I saw it first hand.
